David played a pivotal role in the development of Wynndalco’s Technology lnventory Management Software (TIMS), an advanced warehouse and CRM platform designed for comprehensive asset management, delivery coordination, and disposition tracking. With a keen eye for structure and innovation, David anticipates shifts in the IT landscape, meticulously analyzes emerging trends, and consistently elevates industry standards. His visionary leadership ensures Wynndalco’s solutions remain robust and adaptable, meeting the diverse needs of its clients with precision and excellence.
David’s career is marked by a series of impactful accomplishments across various sectors, underscoring his expertise and leadership in technology services:
• He has developed and delivered cutting-edge technology solutions for major corporations and government entities, establishing himself as a principal provider of system integration services to organizations like the Chicago Public Schools, Dallas lndependent School District, and others.
• David was instrumental in designing and implementing the protocol for warehousing, configuring, distributing, and installing radio communication systems for the PACE suburban bus system, enhancing efficiency and reliability across operations.
• He led the lllinois Tollway Authority through the successful execution of its $6.3 billion capital improvement program, “Open Roads for a Faster Future,” advancing transportation infrastructure throughout the state.
• David played a critica! role in the application and recovery of millions of dollars in essential technology funding from the federal E-Rate Program, benefiting the entire school system in Puerto Rico.
• During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also spearheaded efforts to secure instrumental funding for technology initiatives, ensuring that organizations could continue their operations and adapt to new challenges.
David’s career showcases his ability to navigate complex projects, secure funding, and implement transformative solutions that drive progress for both public and prívate sectors David completed his MBA in lnternational Business (1B) from both the University of Cumbria London and Robert Kennedy College in Zurich, Switzerland. He further expanded his academic expertise by attending the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated from the Advanced Management Program {AMP). Additionally, David is an alumnus of the Stanford University Graduate Executive Program, the Notre Dame Corporate Governance Program, and the University of lllinois Entrepreneurial Studies Program. As a testament to his commitment to education and leadership, David is also an active member of the Robert Kennedy College Student Ambassador Program, where he shares his perspectives and expertise with students. Currently David has been accepted to the Robert Kennedy College Doctorate in Business Administration.
Through this role, he supports the continued growth and expansion of RKC’s online programs, helping to inspire and guide future leaders in their academic journeys.
A native of Trinidad and Tobago, David’s roots are deeply embedded in the Hispanic community, where he has earned recognition from a variety of prestigious publications and organizations, including the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Ernst & Young, Hispanic Business, Minority Entrepreneur, and lnc. Magazine, for his work in strengthening minority business participation. David serves on several influential boards, including the College of DuPage Foundation, Choose DuPage, the Regional Transportation Authority, and DuPage County Emergency Telephone System. He is a proud member of the lllinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (where he formerly served as Chairman), Chicago United, and the Rotary Club of Chicago. Additionally, he has contributed as a former board member of HACIA, a member of the lllinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation, and The lnternational Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association (IBTTA). He is also a co-founder and executive member of the Latino Leadership Council.
His leadership and dedication have earned him numerous accolades, including the Latino Entrepreneur of the Year, the Latino Leaders Maestro lnnovation Award, and the Chicago United Business Leaders of Color recognition. David was also honored with the Community Champions Award by Hispanic Business of Chicago and named Hispanic Business Person of the Year by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC).
