At a virtual event on June 11 along with 49 other nominees, Addison-based Wynndalco Enterprises, LLC, was honored by Crain’s Chicago Business as the 29th fastest growing company in the region. Ranked by percentage revenue growth from 2015 through 2020, CCB requires companies must have generated at least $15 million in revenue for 2020 and be headquartered in Illinois’ Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Will, or McHenry Counties, or Indiana’s Lake County. With recent three-year revenue growth of 215 percent, Wynndalco is honored to be included in this prestigious listing of the area’s most accomplished companies.
“As a business, we’re constantly looking at opportunities and partnerships to strengthen and share technology to better the lives of the people around us,” explains Wynndalco CEO and founder, David Andalcio. “We’re humbled to have the kind of growth that’s recognized by a Chicago institution like Crain’s.”
For Wynndalco Enterprises, a technology provider established in 2009 and a certified DBE/MBE/SBE/BEP that serves educational institutions, state- and local governments, Fortune 500 and -100 businesses, and transportation entities, this award is especially sweet after a difficult year. Its long, fruitful relationship with Chicago Public Schools, among other education districts locally and nationwide, meant Wynndalco banked a lot of hours providing the technology and connectivity to enable students to pivot quickly to distance learning during the pandemic. Then, a new partnership with Integrated Viral Protection (IVP) added another tool to their box, as they became the sole Midwest provider of indoor air protection systems proven to kill 99.999% of live SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), 99.98% of anthrax spores, and other airborne pathogens instantaneously—in a single pass and without affecting the ambient air.
Long established as an award-winning innovator and contributor to underserved populations, Andalcio is grateful to see this business growth after such a challenging time.
“We believe wholeheartedly that we’ve got to help people get back to work and back to school to resume some normalcy after the crazy year that was 2020,” Andalcio believes. “Even as we continue to expand our offerings, we’re continually thankful for the deep rooted relationships that have brought us this far. Our business success feels like a collective effort over all these years…so this award is for all of us.” –Crain’s Chicago Fast 50 2021
